We are Hiring: Resource person to develop an Impact video documentary

Africa Freedom of Information Centre is seeking to engage experienced and highly skilled resource persons to develop  high end impact documentaries in project countries; Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Rwanda. The resource person to undertake the task is required to be a local resident for that country.

Background 

Under its intervention, for inclusion of Women-Led Businesses, Africa Freedom for Information Centre carried out a research study in five East African Countries; Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya on understanding the barriers and solutions to include Women-Led Businesses in Public Procurement. Following this research, AFIC is undertaking advocacy campaigns and stakeholder engagements to include Women-Led Businesses in Procurement in these countries. We therefore seek to engage an experienced and highly skilled resource person to follow these campaigns, conduct consultations and interviews and document the impact thereof, inform of  a video documentary. The aim is to educate viewers on the importance of including women-led businesses in procurement processes and provide solutions for how this can be achieved.

The exercise will integrate Key Informant Interviews with AFIC, Ministry of gender, and social development, Public Procurement Bodies and other critical stakeholders to provide experiences, successes, pending challenges and opportunities for increasing the inclusion of women-led businesses in procurement processes in the project countries.
