Condolences for the loss of Board Member, Mr Alfredo Cantero

Africa Freedom of Information Centre (AFIC)- CoST International’s- Africa Regional Manager has learned with deep regret the demise of our friend and leader, Mr Alfredo Jose Cantero.

Alfredo believed that transparency matters and that public officials were important in making transparency deliver for the people. This was his passion. His message and experience shared with Open Government Partnership Points of Contact at the OGP Summit in Ottawa, Canada was illuminating on these facts.

While we moan his sad demise, we are comforted by the fact that through his contributions to CoST Honduras, CoST International Board and Honduras Government, Alfredo established a strong foundation for the work he cherished to continue. We will miss his contribution dearly.
